YOGA CLASSES

INTRO TO YOGA 
Build a strong foundation for a life-long, successful practice in this introductory session. Designed to accommodate students of all fitness levels, people with existing injuries, people who have taken a few yoga classes and people who have never set foot on a yoga mat. At the end of the class you will have a clear understanding of the practice and how to choose the right class. See our special events page for dates and times.

FLOW 1 
Building on basics and adding more flow. This class is still appropriate for beginners as well as ongoing students who like the pace of this class.

FLOW 2
A wider variety of postures are explored, building strength and flexibility. 

FLOW 3
This is an advanced level class. Students should feel comfortable working in a wide variety of postures including backbends and inversions. 

ALL LEVELS
During busy times we wanted a class that could suit most levels- this class will offer modifications for each level student. In yoga we should always listen to the body first and foremost. It is recommended brand new students attend one of our beginner’s classes before attempting all levels so a basic understanding of postures is gained. 

BALANCE & STRENGTH 
This is not a yoga class but a class that will be very complimentary to our Gentle Flow and Restorative classes. This class is designed for students seeking to increase balance, stabilize and strengthen muscles without a strenuous workout. Instructors will guide students through exercises utilizing light free weights and gentle repetitive movements. Students will have the option of three different weight variations and if balance is an issue we can provide chairs.

RESTORATIVE 
A combination of breath work and gentle poses. This class is designed to restore your body’s energy and vitality. This is a very gentle class and appropriate for anyone. If you have any injuries or are pregnant, this is the best class for you.

GENTLE FLOW
A class for those looking for the basic postures and flow with easy does it sequences that will stretch the entire body. 

YOGA HOUR 
An all levels class that is short, sweet, and just $5.

ROLL AND RELEASE
This class utilizes foam rollers and a simple yet dynamic stretching practice. The key to encouraging flexibility is keeping our myofascial tissues pliable and supple. This class is a great addition for stiff bodies and for athletes of any kind, though anyone will benefit. See special events for dates and times.

CORE WORKS 
This class, while not a yoga class, is excellent as a complimentary class to our flow classes, focus will be on stabilizing and strengthening the core and back through various exercises and is accessible to any level student including those new to yoga. This class can be helpful for rehabilitating your back and preventing future injuries. 

BALANCE & STRENGTH/GENTLE FLOW HYBRID

Combining our Balance and Strength and Gentle Flow creates a beautiful hybrid class that will begin with light weights and repetitive movements to wake up and strengthen muscle groups and gentle stretching and flow to follow. This class will allow the body to strengthen and stretch all in one class consisting of 45 minutes of strengthening and 45 minutes easy does it flow.
